Santa made a special stop at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Cincinnati
(CINCINNATI; December 24, 2015) – Santa made an early visit to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Cincinnati that brought joy and smiles to patients and their families on Christmas Eve.
Santa surprised patients and families alike when he suddenly appeared during a special Christmas Eve lunch at the hospital. All of the children (including patients and their siblings) received gifts, including toys and games. Families also received special gift bags.
“It’s never a happy time to be in the hospital, especially over the holidays. We do everything we can to make our patients’ stay here the best possible and let the children be children,” said Cindy DeSerna, Manager, Care Management, Cincinnati Shriners Hospital. “We want to put smiles on everyone’s face. Thanks to our generous donors we are able to go above and beyond.”
